Pereira Vows to Stay at Reds after Two Years on Loan

ANDREAS Pereira has no intention of leaving United after spending two years on loan in Spain.

Pereira, 22, joined Granada on a season-long loan arrangement in 2016-17 and defied United manager Jose Mourinho to seal a return to La Liga with Valencia last year.

The Brazilian made his United debut nearly four years ago but is still yet to make his full Premier League debut. Despite intense competition in a midfield strengthened by the £52.7million addition of Fred, Pereira believes he can benefit United in the upcoming campaign.

"It's my intention to stay here and help the club and help the team," Pereira said. "Of course, that's my first intention, so I want to do everything what I can to stay at the club and help United this season.

"I think it was on my personal level needed to play another season regularly and it was good for me as well, and I think it's good for the team and the club that I'm more prepared now than last year. …
