Jose's Keen for Dedicated Bailly to Stay with United

JOSE Mourinho has confirmed United defender Eric Bailly will not be sold and praised the defender's willingness to play through the pain barrier.

Bailly was not listed among the United substitutes for their 4-1 defeat to Liverpool the US at the weekend but was a late replacement for Chris Smalling, who withdrew from the line-up due to an injury.

The M.E.N. reported last week Bailly had been told his Old Trafford future was secure as the club attempts to sign a new centre half. Marcos Rojo looks set for a move to Everton and Mourinho lauded Bailly's character.

"I don't think he's a leader," Mourinho said. "I don't think anything goes to change with that. I think he's a team boy, a great boy, and an honest man, honest to put everything for the team and that is why we still have him and why he is going to stay with us. …
