Brown's Injury Being Evaluated Tomlin Labels It Day-to-Day Thing

All-Pro receiver Antonio Brown was sent to Pittsburgh to have an injury evaluated, but coach Mike Tomlin offered no specifics about the nature of the injury or how long Brown will be out.

Brown missed practice for a second consecutive day Thursday at St. Vincent College in Latrobe.

"Largely, it can be characterized as a day-to-day type of deal," Tomlin said.

When pressed on what type of injury Brown is dealing with, Tomlin said "it's nothing to speak of."

Left tackle Alejandro Villanueva also did not practice Thursday. Several others who had been out worked in some capacity, including safeties Morgan Burnett and Sean Davis.Cornerback Artie Burns returned to being a full participant.

Receiver Marcus Tucker rolled his ankle late in practice, and Tomlin said he also is considered day-to-day. …
