KAMLOOPS. x-13s. B-C Wildfire Service spokesman Kevin Skrepnek says lightning storms over B-C have created the busiest few days for wildfire crews since the forest fire season began in April. He says 170 new fires were recorded yesterday and more could occur as smouldering undergrowth ignites. But despite the thousands of lightning strikes, new fires and continuing unstable weather, Skrepnek says there's still positive news.
