JOSE Mourinho is already facing an injury crisis even before the new Premier League season kicks off.

The Reds boss will be without at least SIX players for their opener against Leicester at Old Trafford tonight.

And Mourinho, who failed to add to his squad on deadline day yesterday, admits he is unsure of how many of his World Cup stars will be able to play a part - including Paul Pogba.

New signing Diogo Dalot is out until next month due to a meniscus injury, while Sergio Romero, Marcos Rojo and Nemanja Matic suffered World Cup-related injuries.

Antonio Valencia and Ander Herrera are both out after being injured during pre-season.

Pogba, Marouane Fellaini and Ashley Young only returned to Carrington on Monday following the World Cup, while Jesse Lingard and Romelu Lukaku reported last week. The quintet have not played any pre-season football. …
