NAT112 - (NB-Wasp-Sting-Death) BARRIE, Ont. x-17s. A 43-year-old New Brunswick man has died after being stung by a wasp, and his family says he never showed signs of an allergy. Daniel Koch (COOK) was stung on the face by a wasp last Friday, and died en route to the hospital after his father used an EpiPen and applied C-P-R. TAG: Fischer says fatal reactions to insect stings most often involve patients over 40 who are on heart medication or could have underlying heart conditions.
