BC06 - (Tug-Capsize)

VANCOUVER. x-10s. A tug that flipped and sank in the Fraser River near Vancouver International Airport is now being drained after being lifted out of the water. Special equipment, including a large crane, were required to right and remove the 19-metre tug, which was operated by Ledcor Group. The boat was capable of carrying up to 22-thousand litres of diesel, but Department of Fisheries and Oceans spokesman Dan Bate says any fuel leak was likely far less than that -- although measurements are still being taken.
