WINNIPEG. x-13s. The R-C-M-P is being asked to investigate allegations of sexual abuse of Indigenous women decades ago in northern Manitoba. A new report from a Manitoba government advisory agency says hydro development in the 1950s, '60s and '70s led to sexual assaults and other abuses against women from the Fox Lake Cree Nation. Sustainable Development Minister Rochelle Squires says she is referring the report to the Mountie.
