CITY are prepared to let Aleks Zinchenko go to Real Betis… as long as the Spanish club come up with hard cash.

The Blues have held talks with the La Liga outfit, who want to take the Ukraine international on loan.

Reports in Spain suggest that Betis are keen on a season's loan deal for Zinchenko, who played 14 times for the Blues last season, most of them as an emergency left-back when Benjamin Mendy and Fabian Delph were both injured.

But City are not interested in a straight loan - they either want a permanent deal now or a loan with an obligation to buy, similar to those they struck with Roma for Edin Dzeko and Valencia for Alvaro Negredo.

The figure of £10.8million is being bandied about in Spain, but that is not likely to cut it with City, ahead of that country's transfer deadline on August 31. …
