NAT125 - (Sask-School-Shooting) REGINA. x-12s. Saskatchewan's ombudsman says a teacher who was shot in the face at a school in La Loche in 2016 can't be compensated for pain and suffering under government rules. Charlene Klyne, a substitute teacher, complained last year that workers' compensation payments hadn't been enough to cover her bills. An ombudsman's review says she has received all the support provided by government programs and workers' compensation. Klyne says she's disappointed in the review. ("..whole situation.")
