WINNIPEG.x-14s. A report into working conditions at a Manitoba Hydro site is detailing allegations of racism, sexual harassment and prison-like living conditions. About 180 workers at the Crown utility shared their experiences working at the Keeyask Generation Project near Gillam in 2016 for the report by an independent firm. Sheila North, the former Grand Chief representing northern Manitoba First Nations, says it shows there needs to be real change when it comes to Indigenous communities near these sites.
