SACKVILLE, N.B. x-06s. New Brunswick Liberal Premier Brian Gallant is promising a four-year freeze of N-B Power rates for residential and small business customers if his government is re-elected. Gallant says many people's power bills are going up faster than their wages, so freezing power rates helps create a fairer economy. But Green Leader David Coon says it's a bad idea that will require hefty rate hikes in the future.
