¦ September 11, 1982: Manchester City forward Kevin Reeves rues a missed chance during the Blues' 2-1 victory over Tottenham Hotspur at White Hart Lane. Reeves joined City from Norwich for £1.25 million in March 1980. He made 130 appearances scoring 34 goals, including a penalty in the 3-2 defeat by Spurs in the 1981 FA Cup Final replay. Reeves left the Blues in 1983 to rejoin former City manager John Bond at Burnley. A hip injury forced him to retire from playing at the age of 26. He was a coach at Burnley and Birmingham City and assistant manager at Wrexham and Swansea City. He is currently the chief scout at Everton.
