Paedophile Brothers Fail to Get Sentence Cut

TWO paedophile brothers who preyed on girls as young as five have failed in their bid to get their jail sentences reduced.

Sick siblings, Alan and Thomas Fowler, committed appalling sex attacks on the girls, the youngest was aged just five when she was abused.

Victims, who cannot be identified for legal reasons, were left with life-long mental scars, London's Appeal Court heard.

Alan Fowler, 60, of Oldham Drive, Stockport, abused four victims and admitted 15 counts of indecent assault and three rapes.

He was locked up for 28 years at Bolton Crown Court in March and ordered to serve an extra year on licence after his release.

Thomas Fowler, 66, of High Street, Whitwell, near Hitchin, Herts, pleaded guilty to 18 counts of indecent assault against three girls. …
