Hart: 'I'm Cool with Pep. He's a Top Manager'

JOE Hart says he holds no grudges after his 12-year City career came to a close in the summer.

The 31-year-old played between the sticks 348 times for the Blues but his final years at the club saw him fall out of favour. In his last two campaigns he was sent out on loan to Torino and West Ham.

But Hart, who was sold to Burnley in the summer, says he respects the honesty afforded to him by Pep Guardiola. The Blues boss had his mind made up on the England international from the outset, and Hart was replaced as No.1 by Claudio Bravo.

"I'm cool with Pep, I think he's a top manager," Hart said.

"He came in and was dead honest with me. I looked him in the eye and shook his hand, I thanked him for his honesty. I didn't thank him for his opinion, but his honesty was second to none. …
