LIMBACH TO PAY $20.2 MILLION TO ACQUIRE TOLEDO COMPANY

Limbach Holdings said it will pay $20.2 million to acquire a Toledo, Ohio, company that provides construction and maintenance services to schools, health care providers and other markets. The Strip District contractor said it will use $12.6 million in cash, $4 million of its stock, and a $3.6 million note from the seller to purchase Dunbar Mechanical. Limbach expects to tap an existing credit facility to fund the cash portion of the transaction. Dunbar is initially expected to generate annual revenue of about $75 million for Limbach, which reported 2017 revenue of $485.7 million. The deal is expected to close within 60 days.

MONSANTO ASKS JUDGE TO THROW OUT $289M AWARD IN CANCER SUIT

Agribusiness company Monsanto has asked a San Francisco judge to throw out a jury's $289 million award to a former school groundskeeper who said the company's Roundup weed killer left him dying of cancer. DeWayne Johnson failed to prove that Roundup or similar herbicides caused his non-Hodgkin's lymphoma and presented no evidence that Monsanto executives were malicious in marketing Roundup, attorneys for Monsanto said in court documents. Attorneys for Mr. Johnson had no immediate comment.

REPORT: ONE-THIRD OF HOUSEHOLDS STRUGGLE TO PAY ENERGY BILLS

The Energy Information Administration said nearly a third of U.S. households had trouble paying their energy bills, with 1 in 5 households going without food, medicine or other necessities to pay their electricity or gas bills.
