CHRISTINE McGuinness says she was reduced to tears after a woman made a complaint about her autistic twins at a play centre.

The wife of Bolton comic Paddy McGuinness said she was stunned to overhear a fellow visitor complaining about the noises her children were making.

Leo and Penelope, five, were having a brilliant time playing in an environment they would usually find challenging because of the developmental disorder - and Christine was pleased to see their joy and hear them squealing with excitement.

But she was crushed to overhear the woman make the comments about them being too noisy.

She told the Loose Women on ITV: "I overheard a lady complaining about the sounds they were making, saying it hurt her ears.

"I cried." Christine, a guest star on the hit ITVBe reality show The Real Housewives of Cheshire , is supporting Autism Hour during the week of October 6, which will see participating shops turn down music and other noise, dimming lighting that can be overwhelming for autistic people and helping the public understand autism by sharing information with their customers. …
