Prime Minister Justin Trudeau says Parliament should consider revoking honorary Canadian citizenship from Myanmar's de facto leader for failing to speak out against the violence perpetrated against Rohingya Muslims in her country. But Trudeau told a news conference in New York today that such a move won't make a difference in the lives of the hundreds of thousands of Rohingya Muslims who have fled their country.
