WINNIPEG. x-5s. The Manitoba government is taking another financial hit from a football stadium built in 2013. The province is writing off 82-million dollars in loans to the Winnipeg Blue Bombers and other members of the group that owns Investors Group Field. The province had earlier written off another 118-million dollars in loans. Premier Brian Pallister says despite the losses, he will fulfil his promise to balance the budget by 2024.
