DESPITE nursing a broken collarbone, Stockport's Christian Iddon scored a brace of top ten finishes as the Bennetts British Superbike Championship made it's annual pilgrimage to Assen in Holland.

Starting seventh on the grid for race one, Iddon ran as high as fifth at one stage, but a high volume of front tyre wear forced him to slow and the TYCO BMW rider had to settle for eighth.

From 11th on the grid in race two, Iddon climbed to fourth, but with just five laps to go, a broken gear position sensor snatched away all Iddon's hard work - dropping him to 10th place at the chequered flag. Speaking to TYCO BMW, Iddon - who broke his collarbone at Silverstone three weeks ago - said: "I struggled quite a lot throughout free practice sessions with my broken collarbone - I underestimated how difficult it would be. …
