SAINT JOHN, N.B. - Maxim Trepanier scored two and a half minutes into overtime as the Gatineau Olympiques topped the Saint John Sea Dogs 2-1 in overtime in Quebec Major Junior Hockey League action Thursday evening.

Pier-Olivier Lacombe also scored for the Olympiques (4-2-0).

Charlie DesRoches replied for the Sea Dogs (1-3-2).

Creed Jones turned away 14 shots for Gatineau. Alex D'Orio stopped 27 shots for Saint John.

The Sea Dogs went 0 for 4 on the power play. The Olympiques were went 1 for 6 with the man advantage.

Saint John's Robbie Burt was given a match penalty for boarding at 6:22 of the first period, while teammate Anthony Boucher received a game misconduct for boarding 1:29 into the third. …
