Dzeko Proud to Still Be Favourite with Supporters

EDIN Dzeko will always be adored by City supporters.

'The Bosnian Diamond' netted 72 goals in 189 games during his time at the club and played a pivotal part in two Premier League title wins.

As well as his key role in a trophyladen spell at the club, Dzeko also scored a number of memorable goals against some of City's greatest rivals. There were derby goals at Old Trafford, clinical strikes at Anfield, and of course that bullet header against QPR on the final day of the 2011/12 season.

On a typical matchday at the Etihad stadium you can still expect to hear supporters sing Dzeko's name in the 'Five in a row' chant.

And speaking to mancity.com, the Bosnian revealed he was surprised by the lasting impression he had on City fans. "I didn't know that! It's great to know and hopefully it will continue for many years to come," Dzeko said. …
