The walk-off will include the Greater Toronto Area, with the exception of Scarborough, and most of the 9-0-5 region.

Today is the second day of postal disruptions across the country, after Canada Post announced a rotating strike on Sunday.

The walk-offs began yesterday in Victoria, Edmonton, Windsor and Halifax. (The Canadian Press)

Brown -- who represented residents of Barrie municipally and federally before becoming a provincial legislator for an area north of the city -- recently moved to Brampton with his newly wed wife. (The Canadian Press)

Also, former Liberal Speaker Steve Peters succeeded in his bid to secure a council seat in St. Thomas, where previous Conservative M-P Joe Preston was elected mayor. (The Canadian Press)
