A briefing note to Manitoba's health minister from January shows the number of people entering treatment for meth addiction at publicly-funded centres has increased 700 per cent since 2012. At the Addictions Foundation of Manitoba it doubled from 3.8 to 8.5 per cent in two years. Cameron Friesen says it has created a complex problem.
