Mother Admits Storing Drugs for Sons in Economy Home

The mother of two Beaver County brothers imprisoned for selling fentanyl that killed a woman has admitted that she let them use her house in Economy to store their drugs.

Dorothy McCracken, mother of drug dealers Sam and Wayne McCracken, pleaded guilty Monday in federal court to a count of conspiracy to distribute fentanyl. A supplier, Andre Stevenson, pleaded to the same charge on the same day.

They will be sentenced Feb. 20. U.S. District Judge Joy Flowers Conti had previously sent the McCracken brothers to prison for 45 months.

Both were targets of a federal drug team investigating their operation since 2015. Both cut deals with prosecutors and cooperated.

Their main distributor, Jeffrey Rogers of Ambridge, is serving 18 years in prison. …
