HUMBOLDT, Saskatchewan. x-13s. People in Humboldt, Saskatchewan are mourning the death of a man for whom their arena is named. Elgar Petersen died Saturday at the age of 82. The longtime volunteer -- who had an intellectual disability -- was inducted into the Saskatchewan Hockey Hall of Fame in its Grassroots category in 2015. Mayor Rob Muench (MINCH) says when people thought of the Broncos hockey team, they often thought of Elgar.
