Parry Sound-Muskoka M-P Tony Clement has resigned from the Conservative shadow cabinet after he shared explicit sexual images and a video of himself electronically.

Clement says the images were sent in the last three weeks and he believed they were going to a "consenting female."

However, he now says the person was trying to extort him and he has asked the RCMP to investigate.

Clement is resigning his committee roles as well, but he says he will stay in the Conservative caucus and continue serving his Ontario constituents. (The Canadian Press)

Matt Duchene and the Ottawa Senators are attempting to put the drama behind them after a viral video of him and some teammates criticizing the club -- most notably assistant coach Marty Raymond -- appeared online earlier this week.

He apologized to Raymond, adding he did not deserve what he and his teammates said about him.

Duchene says that the video showing him and six other Senators players insulting the team and Raymond during an Uber ride is an internal matter they are all dealing with. (The Canadian Press)
