Bury Boss Praises His 'First Class' Shakers for Comeback

BURY manager Ryan Lowe has praised the mentality of his side after an impressive midweek comeback.

The Shakers claimed a 3-1 win over Fleetwood Town at Gigg Lane - progressing to the last 32 of the Checkatrade Trophy - despite going a goal behind.

Bury fell behind after 14 minutes when Kyle Dempsey scored for Fleetwood, but they hit back with goals from Dom Telford, Chris Dagnall and Nicky Adams giving them a 3-1 lead before half-time.

Bury held on to claim second place in Northern Group B, and manager Lowe says his side were 'first class'.

Speaking to Sky Sports after the match on Tuesday, Lowe said: "It's always nice to win - especially at home. We've tried to make it a little bit of a fortress and as you've seen with the football we've played we were first class tonight. …
