SASKATOON. x-12s. Rural municipal politicians in Saskatchewan have been told that addressing crime in the countryside remains a big challenge for police. That message today from R-C-M-P Corporal Mel Zurevinsky (zuhr-uh-VIHN'-skee) during an address to the Saskatchewan Association of Rural Municipalities convention in Saskatoon. Zurevinsky, speaking after his address, says although the force needs more patrol officers, property owners shouldn't confront criminals.
