NAT035 - (Mba-Meth-Jails) WINNIPEG. x-06s. Documents obtained by The Canadian Press point to a rising number of violent incidents at the Winnipeg Remand Centre. The documents show guards at the remand centre called for backup 47 times in the first nine months of this year. Another 20 times, there was a more-serious call of a worker in immediate danger.
