United Not Far Behind City despite Derby, Says Fellaini

MAROUANE Fellaini believes United are not too far off City despite there being a 12-point gap in the table.

Jose Mourinho's side were beaten 3-1 by City in the first Manchester derby of the season and they now sit eighth in the Premier League and 12 points off league leaders City.

United were well beaten on the day, and despite Anthony Martial's second half penalty, never really looked like getting anything out of the game.

But, despite that and the vast gap between the two sides in league position, Fellaini doesn't believe that last week's result emphasised a significant gap between the two teams.

"I don't think so. "I remember when I arrived in England it was a top four, now it is a top six, so every year it is more difficult," the midfielder told Sky Sports. …
