JOSE Mourinho would have won the Premier League 'two or three times' if he was City manager, according to Didier Drogba.

The striker has defended his former boss from criticism for United's poor form this season, insisting he would have been successful if he was in charge at the Etihad rather than Old Trafford.

Pep Guardiola is looking to win his second successive Premier League title with the Blues, but Drogba believes Mourinho could have at least matched those achievements.

The former Chelsea striker also claimed Mourinho was finding it difficult at United because the financial support isn't there for him.

"I think if you put him at Manchester City, he would have won the league twice, maybe two or three times," Drogba said. …
