OXFORD 4 ROCHDALE 2 ROCHDALE'S poor form away from home continued at the Kassam Stadium last night as they succumbed to a 4-2 defeat.

Having conceded three goals in defeats at Shrewsbury and Wycombe in recent weeks, boss Keith Hill changed tactics with a three-man central defence and two wing-backs, making four changes to the team that started the weekend's 1-0 home win against Accrington.

But Dale were undone as early as the 11th minute when Cameron Brannagan's corner was met by Rob Dickie. Josh Lillis prevented his effort from crossing the line but could only parry the ball to Jamie Mackie, who prodded home the rebound from close range. And three minutes later Oxford had their second. Marcus Browne raced into the area and pulled the ball back for James Henry to smash into the net from 15 yards. …
