Sister's Tribute to Man Who Fell from M6 Bridge

THE devastated sister of a man who died after falling from a bridge over the M6 on Boxing Day has paid tribute to him.

David Fowler lost his life after an incident between junction 24 for Ashton-in-Makerfield and junction 23 for St Helens at around 3pm on Wednesday, December 26.

His heartbroken sibling Holly said she had planned to make 41-yearold David a godfather to her unborn child.

But tragically, 'life just got too much for him', she added.

Speaking to the Liverpool Echo, the mum-of-two said: "He didn't have children but he had nephews, Louis, Isaac and Jude and a niece, Bluebell, who he loved so much.

"I'm due another baby and I told him if he gets his life together and carries on doing well, he can be my baby's godfather.

"He cried with gratitude and vowed to get better. …
