THE New Year is nearly here, when many of us start to think about whipping ourselves back into shape.

If the gym isn't your thing, this fun fitness challenge might be just the motivation you need to get up off your sofa.

Giant inflatable obstacle course Gung-Ho! is coming back to Manchester in 2019, with 5km of bouncy slides, mazes and more to tackle.

Inspired by TV shows like It's A Knockout, Total Wipeout and Fun House, the race returns to Heaton Park on Saturday, April 6, and registration is open now.

Organiser Alex Winters, a former CBeebies presenter, said: "We are itching to go! We know this will be the best year yet and can't wait to show Manchester what we have in store!

"When I was younger I dreamed of taking part in TV shows like Fun House and It's a Knockout, and I know millions of others did too. …
