Commissioners OK Relocation of N. Wren Drive

Scott Township Commissioners approved several matters pertaining to the new St. Clair Hospital outpatient care center, including the relocation of North Wren Drive.

Council on Dec. 20 voted unanimously to relocate a portion of North Wren Drive near the hospital so it will be better connected with Bower Hill Road and Firwood Drive.

With the realignment comes new traffic signals and sidewalks. A new entrance to the facility will be created at North Wren, while the current main entrance to the hospital will remain open.

Township administrators said the realigned North Wren will be open sometime after the holidays.

Also approved was the developer's agreement between the Municipality of Mt. Lebanon and St. Clair Hospital. The new outpatient center is being built on a parcel located in both municipalities, with 43 percent of the development in Scott and 57 percent in Mt. …
