Lowe Hopes Shakers Can Deliver in Front of Fans

BURY will be looking to get their results back on track in League Two when they face Crewe Alexandra at Gigg Lane today.

The Shakers experienced a tough couple of results over the festive period, firstly losing 2-1 away to fellow promotion challengers Mansfield, and most recently coming away with only a point at a struggling Notts County.

But today's fixture sees Ryan Lowe's side back at Gigg Lane, where they have still only lost once in the league - a 1-0 defeat to Carlisle United in October.

Their opponents have started to come into a bit of form prior to this fixture, winning their last two league games, an impressive 2-1 win over current table toppers Lincoln City and a 1-0 victory over Stevenage at Gresty Road on Saturday.

However, David Artell's side have failed to pick up three points away from home in their last five attempts, with their last a 1-0 win at Stevenage in October. …
