Win for Shakers Could See Them Leap into Top Three

BURY will look to improve their form away from home in League Two when they travel to face Yeovil Town at Huish Park this afternoon.

The Shakers returned to winning ways with a 3-1 win over Crewe Alexandra at Gigg Lane on New Year's Day, thanks to a brace from Jay O'Shea and a goal from Caolan Lavery.

But despite their good form at home so far this season, Ryan Lowe's side have continued to struggle on their travels, picking up just two points since their last away league win against Macclesfield on November 3. Their opponents this weekend are struggling on the whole, however, having not won in nine in all competitions, most recently losing 4-1 at home to Cheltenham on Tuesday.

This leaves Darren Way's side 21st in League Two, just three points above the relegation zone, albeit with two games in hand on the others around them. …
