Bury Travel to Stanley in Bid to Secure Quarter-Final Trophy Place

BURY will look to secure a place in the quarter-finals of the Checkatrade Trophy when they travel to face League One side Accrington Stanley at the Wham Stadium tonight.

The Shakers go into the game off the back of two consecutive league victories, most recently securing three points away at Yeovil on Saturday thanks to Nicky Maynard's goal midway through first half.

Ryan Lowe's side edged past fellow League Two promotion hopefuls Mansfield in the previous round of the competition after Dominic Telford's first half strike proved decisive in Nottinghamshire.

Their opponents caused one of the upsets of the weekend on Saturday, beating Championship strugglers Ipswich Town 1-0 at home in the third round of the FA Cup.
