Zoe: Sara Got the Jobs I Wanted

NEW BBC Radio 2 Breakfast Show host Zoe Ball has said that Sara Cox got the jobs she wanted - but they always support eachother.

Both broadcasters will debut new programmes on the radio station on Monday.

Zoe, from Blackpool, is set to take over from Chris Evans on the Breakfast Show while Boltonborn Sara will take on the drivetime show following Simon Mayo and Jo Whiley's exit.

Whilst Sara was tipped to land the early morning slot, it was Zoe who got the gig.

The 48-year-old, who is the first female to host the breakfast slot on Radio 2, told Radio Times magazine: "We spoke a lot during the whole process. We're old buddies and we've always been really supportive of each other.

"Sometimes she gets jobs I've wanted. We always talk. …
