An 18-year-old Saudi woman who grabbed global headlines by barricading herself in a Thai hotel room as she sought asylum, has been allowed to leave the hotel and temporarily enter Thailand under the protection of the U-N refugee agency. Rahaf Mohammed Alqunun says she was trying to travel to Australia for asylum to escape alleged abuse by her family. Aya Batrawy (AY'-ah bah-TRAH'-wee) reports there's not an exact number of how many Saudi women try to flee every year. ("..to do so.") (SOURCE:The Associated Press)
