OLE Gunnar Solskjaer has brought happiness to United since his arrival as interim boss six days before Christmas.

The Reds have won all five of their games in all competitions under Solskjaer, scoring 16 goals and conceding just three in the process, and narrowing the gap to fourth-placed Chelsea in the Premier League to just six points.

When Jose Mourinho was sacked, the gap was 11 points.

The mood in United's squad had darkened by the time the axe fell on Mourinho and the players have appeared revitalised under club favourite Solskjaer, who takes his side to Wembley to take on third-placed Tottenham on Sunday.
