SAM James feels right at home at Sale.

The Wilmslow-born 24-year-old recently made his 100th appearance for the Sharks, having joined the team in 2012.

During that time he has become a fan favourite due to his commitment to the squad - and the fact that he is viewed as a homegrown talent.

"I'm getting old," James told M.E.N. Sport. "I feel like this place is home now, I know every inch of the place, and it's nice to have come through with a few of the lads that I've known and grown up with.

"As well, it makes me feel more comfortable around the place. It allows me to show the other guys the ropes now and help them come through."

Although James has had his fair share of appearances, the excitement of the game is still evident as he looks forward to tomorrow's European Championship Cup game against Connacht. …
