CITY have already been warned about the quality of Wolves under Nuno Espirito Santo.

The Blues needed penalties to knock the then Championship side out of the Carabao Cup last season and could only draw 1-1 at Molineux in the Premier League in August.

Wolves have an outstanding record against the top six this season, losing just twice in seven league games. Those were a 3-2 home defeat to Tottenham, which they put right over Christmas with a 3-1 success at Wembley, and a 2-0 defeat to Liverpool at Molineux, for which they gained revenge with a 2-1 FA Cup third round win a week ago.
