A DOG reduced to skin and bone by neglect was kicked out of a car and left for dead on a street.

The RSPCA said the Staffycross was 'terrified' and hadn't been fed properly for some time.

Inspectors have now launched an urgent public appeal as the dog recovers following veterinary care.

A witness in Royton, Oldham, who was putting out his wheelie bin, said he saw a man 'kick' the dog out from a back seat of a grey BMW on Hall Street.

The witness gave the dog - called Winston - food and water and covered him in a blanket.

A dog warden later alerted the RSPCA after the incident on January 10. Inspectors said a microchip was found which revealed the dog's name and details of his last registered owner.

They claimed to have given the dog away 10 months earlier. Details of the new owner were obtained, but the RSPCA said they too claimed to have given Winston away. …
