LEROY Sane says Pep Guardiola told his City players to play with more intensity in the second-half of their 3-0 Premier League win against Huddersfield.

The Blues were lethargic in the first-half and passed on the chance to put the game beyond the Terriers in the opening 45.

Danilo opened the scoring on 18 minutes after Raheem Sterling was denied a stonewall penalty, but City failed to build on the opening and left the City boss in an animated state on the touchline.

Kyle Walker was one Blues player to receive a strong word in the ear during the first-half but Sane said Guardiola refrained from losing his cool in the dressing room at the interval.

"We had to come more," the Germany international, who sealed the win after Sterling's strike, told Sky Sports. …
