DUNCAN, B.C. x-18s. Six bald eagles are recovering on Vancouver Island after feeding on a farm animal that had likely been euthanized but not buried. Robyn Radcliffe, the executive director of the Raptor Rescue Society says 12 birds were sickened by the tainted meat and six of the bald eagles could not be saved. She says the other six, usually powerful, raptors were helpless when they were found.
