Pochettino 'Can't Promise' He Will Be Staying at Spurs

MAURICIO Pochettino admits he cannot promise he will be at Tottenham next season amid speculation linking him with the United job.

The Argentine is currently second favourite to land the permanent manager's job at Old Trafford behind interim manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.

The Spurs boss is understood to be a firm favourite of the United board as they look to find a permanent replacement for Jose Mourinho - who was sacked last month.

After Solskjaer's blistering start to his reign at United, the Norwegian is now favourite to get the job full-time.

But Pochettino has fuelled speculation that he could be tempted after responding to a question asking him if he could promise he would be at the London club next season. He said: "I can't promise that. You know me very well, that from day one I always feel responsibility to give my best, but [my future] does not depend on me, it depends on the mood of my chairman, it depends on the decision of the company, it's not only my decision to be here. …
