POLICE have released CCTV footage after a man was stabbed in the leg outside McDonald's on Oxford Road in Manchester city centre.

The victim, who is in his 20s, was knifed several times in the thigh during the 'brutal' attack, police said.

Detectives are treating it as an attempted murder investigation.

Police have appealed for witnesses, but no arrests have been made following the incident at around 3.30am on September 5. Officers have now released CCTV footage of two people they want to speak to in connection with the investigation.

The man police want to speak to is said to have a 'distinctive walk'.

Police taped off an area outside the restaurant following the attack.

Trays, food and boxes were seen strewn across the pavement as officers started their investigation. …
