Our Attitude 'Will Take Us to the Top', Says Lukaku

ROMELU Lukaku believes United players have got their 'competitive spirit' back since Ole Gunnar Solskjaer took over as caretaker manager.

The Belgian forward has lifted the lid on the new positive atmosphere at first-team training, and in particular a noticeable difference with the attitude of Paul Pogba.

World Cup winner Pogba has played a pivotal role in the unbeaten start Solskjaer has enjoyed since taking over as first-team manager, something which Lukaku believes originates from training.

Although Lukaku has struggled himself for playing time under the Norwegian coach, he believes players are being encouraged to prove themselves to the new manager, and this new mentality is a key reason behind their immediate improvements on the pitch.

"At training we are constantly saying Paul looks so happy and then he laughs," he told Canal Football Club, via GFFN. …
